To Inspire

“For where your treasure is,

there your heart will be also.”

Matthew 6:21

To inspire

round up an army

and

see

it

move

One needs a voice for such a thing.

But my platform

is His alone

an

audience

of

One

an echo chamber

built on

frustration

and

love

Did Martin Luther not feel the same?

And did God not make a way?

He hung his heart

on a wooden door

With hammer and nails

– Carpenter’s tools

Desire is there because He planted it

and seed eventually breaks the soil.

  1. He hung his heart on a wooden door. Inspired! And for Him alone . . . per Paul: “Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as for Him alone” (Col. 3:23).

  2. I love the reference to carpenter’s tools. It has come full circle. Jesus, a carpenter, nailed to a cross of wood, Luther nailed his 95 theses to a door of wood, all the while I stand with hammer in hand, for it is my sin that put Jesus there.
    Again, great job Ashley!
